Every batch is fried before sunrise at our Warner Ave corner. By the time Huntington Beach wakes up, the case is full.
Kelly's has been frying donuts on this corner of Huntington Beach since 2006. The fryers start before 5:30 AM, so by the time the doors open the case is stocked with a full rotation of classics.
What's in the case
- Glazed — the everyday classic, light and simple.
- Old-fashioned — a denser, cake-style donut with a crackled glaze edge.
- Jelly-filled — a sugared shell packed with fruit filling.
- Bavarian cream — filled with a smooth vanilla custard.
- Maple bars — a long john with maple glaze on top.
- Cronuts — the croissant-donut hybrid, flaky and glazed.
- Apple fritters — chunky, glazed, and one of the bigger items in the case.
The exact lineup changes with what came out of the fryer that morning, so ask what's fresh when you walk in. Donut prices aren't posted — ask in store, since the case changes daily.
