Bringing donuts is the easiest way to be the most popular person in the room — at the Monday meeting, the teachers' lounge, Saturday's team snack table, or the church coffee hour. Here's how to get a box from Kelly's without waiting in line.
Call ahead and it's boxed before you arrive
Call (714) 596-7888, tell us how many dozen and roughly what mix you want, and we'll have the boxes packed and waiting at the counter. Weekdays we open at 5:30 AM, so a dozen can be sitting in your passenger seat before most offices unlock the door. For bigger orders — several dozen for a school event or an office party — a day's heads-up helps us make sure the case has enough of everything you want.
Mixing the box
Everything is fried fresh that morning. A crowd-pleasing dozen usually looks like a few glazed, a couple of old-fashioned, some chocolate-iced, a jelly-filled or two, a Bavarian cream, and a maple bar or apple fritter for whoever gets there first.
